SUMMER RACING.
GRASS TRACK FIXTURES
The New Zealand Auto Cycle Union has allocated fixtures for motor cycle grass track races for the 1929-1930 season. They are as follow: —Tuesday, October 28, Whangarei; Tuesday, October 28, Foxton; Saturday, November 2, Christchurch; Saturday November 9, Auckland; Saturday, November 16, Wellington; Thursday, December 26, Opotiki; Wednesday, January 1, Napier; Thursday, January 2, Napier; Saturday, January 11, Rangitikei; Saturday, January 18, Wairarapa; Wednesday, January 22, Manawatu; Saturday, January .25, Muriwai; Saturday, February 1, Christchurch; Saturday, February 8, Nelson; Wednesday, February 12, Hawera; Saturday, February 15, New Plymouth; Saturday, February 22, Auckland; Thursday, March 6, Whangarei; Saturday, March 8, Hamilton; Saturday, March 15, Marlborough; Saturday, April 19, Napier; Monday, April 21, Napier. Championships have been allocated:— New Zealand light-weight, Opotiki; New Zealand middle-weight, Napier; New Zealand heavy-weight, Christchurch. In addition, cinder track racing will be opened on speedways at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, in November, and in Invercargill in December. Races -vfill also be held at Mr. G. Henning's speedway at Mangere. The cinder track light and middle-weight championships have been allocated to Auckland and Christchurch respectively.
