DRUNKEN MOTORISTS.
THREAT OF IMPRISONMENT.

CHRISTGH CRCH, Monday.
A warning that motorists caught' in charge of motor cars while in a state of intoxication would probably get terms of imprisonment in future, without the option of paying a fine, vvasjziven by Mr. E. 0. Leyvey, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day. The magistrate commented on the prowth of this class of rtffence: He tlion fined Victor-Beaumont, €(> un<l roM.s, and cancelled liis license for 12uion(hs, on a charge of being'intoxicated wjulo in charge of a motor car.
