Workers must foment strikes in Britain and begin a, fr<;sh campaign throughout the factories. TheT) must offer the workers new enticements to launch a Communist daily newspaper before the end of the year."' TILBURY DOCKS. GREAT IMPROVEMENT SCHEME. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 27. The new entrance lock at Tilbury Docks on the Thames, 20 miles below London Bridge, which will make it possible for the largest vessels afloat to enter those docks, was opened yesterday afternoon. Those present will include engineers from many distant parts of the world. The construction of the new entrance lock is one of a series of important improvement works at the London Docks undertaken in the last five years. The entrance lock is 1000 ft long and 110 ft wide. It has a depth of 45Aft of water at high tide. Other improvements in progress will make Tilbury still more attractive to the largest shipping. They include the construction of new dry docks, 750 ft long and 110 ft wide; the opening out of the main dock and the transference of the railways for goods and passenger traffic to the south of the main dock. It is likely, also, that a new landing stage will be available in the near future. This will mean a saving of time to most liners.
