When near the racecourse, and on the edge of the road, a truck driven by Glamuzina pushed him off on to the clay. The road was 17 feet wide. The truck was travelling';from'2o.to-25 miles an hour, and its driver made no effort to swerve. Had , he not gone on the clay the truck would have gone over him. Constable Wakelin also gay.e evidence. He said he interviewed Glamuzina, who would make no statement. His only reason was that.there were too many on the seat of the truck, and also he had no wiper, on his windscreen..-The consstable said light rain was failing/but the visibility was good. . '■' '. Glamuzina was fined £3 and costs.
