DKEDGED FROM ELBE MUD. A treasure chest full of gold and silver coins of the eighteenth century was pulled out of 'the mud by a dredge on the Elbe River. Moet of the money consisted of silver coins dated from 1740 to 1811, but there were also several French Louis d'or. Although the find.was made in broad daylight, it became known only when a policeman saw a child near the dredge playing with money. The greater part of the money was traced to two bargemen.
