NEW PEOPLE WANTED.
BY CHILE AND PANAMA. The Governments of Chile and Panama are at present negotiating with two European governments with a view to obtaining immigrants for colonisation. Chile desires to colonise lAysen territory with some 200,000 surplus families Austria is reported to have since the post-war decrease in her national boundaries, and is to bring from that country 2000 workmen and their families, who will be employed in * "carrying out the many plans at present, under way for public works and private buildings. In Chile a critical situation is threatened on the farms, for the high wages and diversions of city, life are attracting farm labour in great numbers. Panama is negotiating with Greece for the introduction of Albanian, Armenian nnd Greek nationals.
