MEETING AT WANGANUI. PLAY FOR OPEN TITLE. i —— TWO ROUNDS DECIDED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI,' Friday. The second round of the New Zealanc open golf championship was played on the Belmont links yesterday afternoon, Tho weather was better than in the morning, but there was little improvement in the scores. The best performane of tho day was registered by a professional, A. J. Shaw, who was in great form. He went round in 70 in the morning and 75 in the afternoon. His total of 151 placed him at tlie head of tho list with a lead of four over T. H. Horton, the Masterton amateur. Professionals filled the next places. The remaining two rounds of the open championship and the qualifying rounds for the amateur and professional contests will be completed to-morrow.
