MASKED BALL.
The first all-masked ball held by the Druida , Old Time Cabaret on Thursday evening last proved a huge success. The ballroom was tastefully decorated with red, blue and gold streamers and coloured electric lights, while clusters of large balloons overhead added to the effect. The supper arrangements were under the control of Mrs. W. E. Hunter and Mise Marjorie Philp, and 3pecial musical items were supplied by the Revellers, under the leadership of Mr. G. Hunter. Novelties of the evening included the treasure hunt, the revelry waltz, and the spot waltz. Neptune presented the prizes. The winners of the treasure hunt were: Miss N. Dyke and Mr. Godfrey 1, Miss E. Appleton and Mr. N. Galvin 2, while further prizes were won by Miss Ivy ilasefield, Miss N. Sutton, Miss G. Allen, and Messrs. W. Jones, T. Cunliffe, T. Cox.
