THE NEW RILEY MONACO SALOON
An interesting arrival in this countryis the new Riley Monaco Saloon. When it is considered that the Riley Company built their first motor car in 1893, it is not surprising to find them in the van of the world's most advanced design. The old tirade of the small English engine being unsuitable for use in the Dominions has been forced aside by the sheer efficiency of the Riley Nine, and the top-gear performance of this car leaves nothing to be desired by the New Zealand motorist. This performance is the outcome of the clever design, which combines extreme flexibility with racing efficiency. The advanced design and excellent finish of the coachwork has caused widespread comment and appreciation, and the roominess of this car is astounding. The very attractive modern lines and the remarkable power and efficiency of the Riley Saloon has made it one of the most popular cars in its class in England. This interesting British oar is on view at the showrooms of Scabrook, Fowlds, Ltd., Symonds Street, Auckland, and your inspection is cordially invited. — (Ad.)
