BIRCH. —On Tuesday, -September 24, at a private rest home, Mary Brower, relict of John Bagot Birch, and mother of J. Youlin Birch ; aged 73. Deeply mourned. Funeral will leave Little's Mortuary, Ilobson Street, at 2 p.m. to-morrow, for Waikumete. Private interment. GALLAGHER.—On September 24, 1929, Dorothy Ada, dearly beloved eldest daughter of Albert Christopher and Dorothy Violet Gallagher, of 3r>, Gladstone Road. Mount Aloert, aged 12 years. Funeral will leave her parents' residence at 2 o'clock, to-morrow (Wednesday). GKEEN. —On September 23, 1929, at the Auckland Hospital, Eleanor Jane, beloved wife of William Ernest Green, in her forty-fifth year. The funeral will leave her late residence, 31, Prospect Terrace, Heme Bay, Thursday, 261h, at 11 a.m. HENDERSON.—On September 21, at Edinburgh, Scotland, Emmeline Hilda, beloved wife of Andrew Henderson, Esq., and second daughter of Mrs. E.' E. Cave, 14, Mcwburn Avenue, Mount Eden. (By cable.) LOCKLEY. —On September 24, Alwyn Gordon, the dearly beloved eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Lockley, No. 1, Ireland Street, Ponsonby ; aged 18J years. Funeral notice later. MANN. —On September 24, at Public Hos- ■ pital, Alfred Gordon, beloved husband of Alice Lillian Mann ; in his fir'ry-iirsc year. The weary, weak frame has but fallen asleep. Funeral will leave his late residence, 43, Keppell Street, Arch Hill, 2 p.m., Thursday. MANN—On September 24, 1929, at the Auckland Hospital, Alfred Gordon, beloved brother of William Mann, 22, Burgoyne Street, Newton. Peace, perfect peace. MATHIESON.—On September 21, at his residence, 37, Jervois Road, passed peacefully away, James, beloved husband of Grace Isobel Mathiseon. At rest.
