In the women's doubles Betty Nuthall and Caroline Babeoek (Santa Monica) defeated Midge Gladman and Helen Marlowe (Los Angeles), G—2, 7 —5. Cliff Bobbins (University of California) defeated Olift' (England), G—3, G—l; Norman Farquharson (South Africa) defeated Lester Stoefer (Los Angeles). 11l exhibition matches Betty Nuthall and Austin defeated Edith Cross and Doeg, 7—5, 6—o; and Phoebe Watson and Dorothy Shepherd Barron defeated Mrs. May Sutton Bundy and Mary Greef (California), G —4, G—o.
