NEW 'PLANE PURCHASED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Having ascertained from the Government meteorologist that conditions were favourable, Captain White left Hastings by 'plane at 6 o'clock this morning, and arrived at Wellington at 7.50. The rf >ject of his visit was to take charge of the Spartan machine which, the Hawke's Bay Aero Club purchased in Melbourne, and to arrange for its dispatch by rail to Hawke's Bay. Hβ transacted the business, and left on hie return this afternoon.
