C.E. CONVENTION.
THIS AFTERNOON. At the hall of Beresford Street Congregational Cliurch this afternoon the thirty-seventh annual convention of the •Auckland Christian Endeavour Union was opened. A discussion took place on the vaiious activities of the movement. To-niglit_ there is to be a junior rallv at the Unity Hall, at which an address will be given by Miss Jennie Street, the well-known C.E. worker, who has spentsome months in New Zealand the various branches. ° To-morrow will be observed as Christian Endeavour Sunday in the various churches, and on Monday the annual business meeting is to be held at the Beresford Hall, . where ah alumini ban- ' quet is to take place the following nio-ht A monster procession of members of°tli e union will leave Quay Street on Wednes- ( day.evening for the Baptist Tabernacle 1 where a ' consecration rally is to take 1 place. .
