ARMISTICE DAY.
Free Church Object To Military Aspect. AGITATION AT BRISTOL. (United Service.) LONDON, September 20. The Free Church Council, which is now meeting at Bristol, is agitating for the elimination of the military aspect of the Armistice Day celebrations. It is urged that all services should be wholly civil and religious in character. The matter is likely to be discussed at a meeting of the Metropolitan Free Church Federation to be held next week. The secretary, the Rev. Samuel Horton, , says he believes the proposal will be strongly supported.
