SAGAMA RIVER SAILED.
To put out tlie remainder of licr cargo of phosphate, the steamer Sagama River gailed this morniug for New Plymouth and Wanganui. IRIS TO SAIL. Tlie cable steamer Iris is to sail again on Tuesday next to renew the shore end of the Suva-Norfolk Island cable at Anson Bay. WAIPAHI SAILED. On her last trip of the season, the Union Co.'s steamer Waipahi sailed yesterday afternoon for Rarotouga,. Aitutaki, Atiu, and Mauke. She is scheduled to return to Auckland on October S. THE MAUI POM ARE. Now discharging at the King's wharf, the Government motorship Maui Pomare is to sail on Tuesday next for Niue and Apia to load for Duuedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. OAKBANIv DUE TO-MORROW. Due at Auckland from Tampico (Mexico) to-morrow night, the Weir Line motor ship Oakbank will discharge the local portion of her cargo of asphalt at the Western wharf to the agency of Spedding. Ltd. Her other ports of discharge are Gisborue, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Wanganui and New Plymouth. PAPANUI IN PORT. Arriving from Liverpool this morning, the Federal steamer Papanui (Captain F. Hicks) berthed at tlie Queen's wharf to commence discharge. She left Liverpool j on August 3, and experienced generally line] weather, although she was delayed by fresh | westerly winds during the last week. The | Papanui is to sail next Friday for Wei-j lington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New I'ly- j mouth to complete discharge. I - i MA HE NO AND MA-KAMA. I Cabled advice from Sydney confirms the departure from -there yesterday afternoon J of the Union Company's steamers Maheno and Makura, with passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland and Wellington respectively. Both vessels are due at their respective ports next Tuesday morning. At Auckland, the Maheno is to berth at the Queen's wharf, and sails again for Sydney at .11 a.m. next Friday. The Makura leaves Wellington on her return trip next Thursday.
TVITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vesse's are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night and Sunday:—Tofua, Golden Cloud, Waikawa. Aorangi, Hororata, Waipahi, Kaikorai, Port Napier, Maheno, Oakbank, Kairanga, Sagania River, Poolta. Sunday only : Treconnell. NORTHERN COMPANY'S MOVEMENTS. Projected Departures. To-morrow.—Omana, for Surfdale, Ostend and Ouiiha, 9.50 a.m.; Taniwha, for Paeroa, midnight; Claymore, for Whangarei, 9.30 p.m. Monday.—Omana, for Manly, Arkle's Bay and SUverdale, 7 a.m.; Otimai, for Kuta-, rere ami Opotiki, 4 p.m. Tuesday.—Toa, for Whakatane, 10 a.m. Expected Arrivals. To-morrow. —Kawau, from Surfdale, Awaroa Bay, Orapiu and Cowes Bay, 6.30 p.m.; Omana, from Ostend and Omiha, 7 p.m. UNION COMPANY'S STEAMERS. The Poolta is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Wellington, Lytteiton, Bluff and Greymouth, to complete discharge of her Australian cargo. The Kurow is to sail at 4 p.m. to-day for Lytteiton, Timaru and Bluff. The Waimea was delayed at Napier yesterday by rain, but cleared there for Auckland at io a.m. to-day. She is to berth on arrival at the King's wharf, and sails again for Gisborne and Napier at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The Kaituiia, en route from Grey mouth, is expected to clear New Plymouth at 6 p.m. to-day for Auckland. After disI charge here she is to return to Grcymouth to load for Auckland. The Kaikorai, en route from Westport, left New Plymouth for Auckland at 11.30 p.m. yesterday. After discharge at the Prince's wharf she is to return to Westport to load for Wellington. The Waipiata arrived from the South last night, and berthed at the Princte'S wharf. She is to sail next Tuesday for Wellington and Dunedin, and at the latter port will lay up for annual overhaul and survey. The Kartigi sailed this afternoon for Westport and Creymouth, to load for Auckland. The Katoft loads at Westport for Auckland on Thursday.
