THAMES CITY CLUB. THAMES, Friday. At the annual meeting of the City Cricket Club, the chairman, Mr. Crawford Watson, said the formation of the Thames-Hauraki Cricket Association would go a long way toward fostering a community of interest between the plains and Thames clubs, i It was decided to ask the association to open the season with a match between City and Kopuarahi for the Crawford Watson Cup The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P.; president, Mr. Arthur Golden ; vice-presidents, Messrs. D. Ganley, H. R. Purnell, W. White, R. L. Harvey, £. 0. Brownlee, T. Cucksey, J. H. Ensor, D. Mackay, J. W. Arburv : secretarvtreasurer, Mr. G. Twentyman ; field captain, Mr. Crawford Watson; vice-captain, Mr. J. Moran ; committee, the captain, vice-captain, club captain, secretary and Mr. J.
