THAMES CITY CLUB. THAMES, Friday. At the annual meeting of the City Cricket Club, the chairman, Mr. Crawford Watson, said the formation of the Thames-Hauraki Cricket Association would go a long way toward fostering a community of interest between the plains and Thames clubs, i It was decided to ask the association to open the season with a match between City and Kopuarahi for the Crawford Watson Cup The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P.; president, Mr. Arthur Golden ; vice-presidents, Messrs. D. Ganley, H. R. Purnell, W. White, R. L. Harvey, £. 0. Brownlee, T. Cucksey, J. H. Ensor, D. Mackay, J. W. Arburv : secretarvtreasurer, Mr. G. Twentyman ; field captain, Mr. Crawford Watson; vice-captain, Mr. J. Moran ; committee, the captain, vice-captain, club captain, secretary and Mr. J. Hill; delegates to association, Messrs. J. Hill and L. Crawford Watson. THE TAUMARUNUI CLUB. TAUMAROXUI, Friday. At the annual meeting of the Taumarun'Ji Cricket Club the following officers were elected : —President. Mr. E. Edwards ; vicepresidents, Dr. E. Howard and Messrs. R. Craig and F. W. Rutherford; auditor. Mr. >L H. Wilks; executive committee. Messrs. A. E. M. Kerr, E. Beal, J. J. Leadbeater, J. Cameron, Ray Winger, J. P,. Hostick and the secretary; selection committee. Messrs R. W. Thomas, C. Halliday and A. E. M. Kerr; delegates to the Taumarunui Cricket Association, Messrs. E. Edwards, W. H Hughes, R. W. Thomas, A. E. M. Kerr, C." Halliday and G.
