The Auckland Hospital Auxiliary, which does such splendid work for the families of breadwinners who are laid up in til© Public Hospital and Infirmary, is holding a flower week shortly to raise more money to augment its funds. « «■ • Miss J. Hume, 8.A., of the staff of the Palmerston North Girls' High School and late of the staff of the Auckland Training College, has been speeding a few days in Ne.w Plymouth. Miss Hume is a vice-president of the Teachers' Summer School, which Js to be hgld in New Plymouth in January.
