COURSES OF TRAINING.

| MILITARY INSTRUCTION CLASES. Officers and non-commissioned officers of tlie Northern Command will attend instruction classes at Trentham and Narrow Neck during the next mortnight. On Monday a special course for 95 officers and N.C.O.'s will commence at Narrow Neck, and will end on September 28. The units will be drawn from artisan and night-parading cadet companies from the city and suburbs. To attend a signalling course at Trentham, one officer and three N.C.O.'s from the First Battalion, Auckland Regiment, and 30 members of the Northern Depot of Signallers left by train last evening. The course will extend over a fortnight.' Major Hi P. Bell will be camp commandant, and Lieutenant T. P. Laffey. adjutant.
