SALE AT TAUKANGA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Friday. The first annual sale of tlic Buy of Plenty .'lersey Cattle Club whs held at Tiluranga on" Thursday, when Ihtfl'o was a. good attendance of buyers. There was a fair yarding of cattle, the majority of which were sold under the hammer at very satisfactory prices. The highest price Obtained was for the three-year-old hull , Meadowland Hopeful. sold 611 behalf of Mr. B. Sladden, the purchaser being Mr. L. Hopping. The figure ; paid was oGgns. The 84 animals sold realised GlPJgns. Mr. 1. B. Tlionison, of Mastcrtoi).• the Loan and Mercantile Agency's stud auctioneer, weilded the hammer.
