There was a fair yarding of cattle, the majority of which were sold under the hammer at very satisfactory prices. The highest price Obtained was for the three-year-old hull , Meadowland Hopeful. sold 611 behalf of Mr. B. Sladden, the purchaser being Mr. L. Hopping. The figure ; paid was oGgns. The 84 animals sold realised GlPJgns. Mr. 1. B. Tlionison, of Mastcrtoi).• the Loan and Mercantile Agency's stud auctioneer, weilded the hammer.
