PAPAKURA LODGE DANCE.
The annual dance of the Manchcstei Unity Oddfellows was liekl on Tuesday evenih" in the Paragon Theatre, Papakura. ° There was a good attendance of members and visitors from surroundin<r lodges. The hall was tastefuUy v decorated in the colours of the order, blue, white, red and gold. Delightful music was dispensed by Walkers oichestra. The following lodges were represented: Loval Drury, Alanurcwa, Good Intent, Howick and Gisborne, also Papakura Rebekah Lodge and Star of Papakura, 1.0.0.F Lodge. The Alonte Carlo waltz was won by Aliss Hegh and Air. Andrew. The spot waltz was won by Aliss Stokes and Air. Atkinson. A dainty supper was served in the adjoining supper room, the tables of which were pleasingly decorated. Among those present were: Airs. C. Owen, black Georgette and lace; Mrs. W. Smith, embossed georgette; Airs. D. Atkinson, air . force blue crepe de chine, Indian shawl; Aliss Eva Shore, apricot crepe de chine; Airs. W. Richardson, blue velvet' and gold lace; Airs. A. Johnson, beaded georgette, shawl to tone; Airs. F. Scott, mauve georgette and hand painted ehawl ;• Airs. Alf. Walker, rose pink crepe de chine; Airs. G. Stabler, emerald satin and lace; Aliss Marjorie AlcKinstrey, tangerine velvet; Aliss Annie Gray, lemon crepe de chine trimmed with gold lace; Miss Janet ' Milne, period frock, pink net and silver; Aliss AI. Hill, black satin with tulle trimmed with red satin; Aliss E. Luke, frock of black satin; Aliss N. Smith, gold beaded frock of crepe de chine; Mrs. L. Stokes, white French voile; Airs. Stan Bates, vieux rose crepe de chine and overlace; Aliss AI. Townson, brier rose georgette; Aliss I.
