(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Tuesday. I The district electrical engineer, Mr. T. MacLennan,.stated to-day that the work of drying-out the second unit at Arapuni had been completed, and it was expected I that the unit would be generating power | for general 'consumption within a week. j He expected the diversion tunnel at Arsi- | pimi l« be closed again this week in eoni ncctiOM with the tests that were being carried out to combat the effect of ] erosion below the spillway.
