OPEN FOURS TOURNEY. SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRIES. Following is the draw for the Indoor Bowling Association's open fours intersection play, to be decided in the Methodist schoolroom, Great North Road, Grey Lynn, at 7.30 p.m. to-morrow: —Citv of Auckland, A.O.F. v. Court Victoria, A.0.F.; Hope of Auckland. 1.0. K. v. Gordon, I.O.I!.; Eden, 1.0. R. V. Birkenhead F., A.0.F.; Nil Desperaridum, A.O.F. v. Young Diamond, L.O.L. Play will be on the two-life system, and visitors are cordially invited. On .Saturday next, in the Drill Hall, Ponsonby, the Friendly Societies' pairs tourney will be advanced another stage, when the section winners will play off on the two-lifo system. Play will commence at 1.30 sharp. The following is the draw for the first round; —Birkenhead C, bye; Avondale A v. Henderson iB; Alberta C v. Mount Albert; Birkenhead F v. Takapuna B ; Aroatea C v. Henderson A; Aroatca D v. Citv of Auckland; Orange Ladies' D v. Birkenhead D; Eden v. Devonport; Birkenhead B v. Nil Desperandum; Birkenhead E v. Birkenhead A. The Friendly Societies' championship singles will be held on Saturdays. September 2S, and October 5, starting each day at 1.30 p.m. Another record entry has been received, namely. 65 players.
