PETROL FORFEITED.
EXCESSIVE QUANTITY STORED SEQUEL TO CHRISTCHURCH FIRE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. As a sequel to the recent oil fire in Carlylo Street, the South Island Trading Company was fined £5 on a charge of storing an excessive quantity of petrol, and £5 for storing it in an unlicensed, place. The Court ordered confiscation of petrol valued at £750.
