Impending Flotations Would Be
Verv Costly.

'{Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 11 a.m.) LOXDON, September 11. Financial circles are_ taking considerable :jmerest in Nev, finances in view of the necessity of finding £11.600,000 to repay the four per cent loan falling clue on October 1.
It- is believed that a certain portion of this sum was found, in New Zealand, hut in the present stringent monetan conditions here the flotation of a loan ts only possible on very costly terms.
Consequently the money market would not be surprised if Xew Zealand obtained in the shape of Treasury b ills, preferably of six months- currency, as these are more popular than yearly bills and could be renewed at the end of 'the currency if the conditions are still not favourable for a long term loan.
