The green soon recovered from the early rain and by midday was in perfect playing ; condition. Some very close games were witnessed, the winning rink, which was skipped by (Ponsonby), going through without a loss. Results: —Kolfe, Hill, Clark, Letham (Ponsonby), 5 wins; Carbines, Allen, Buchan, Parsons (I'onsouby), 2 wins, 1 drawn, 2 losses; Drummond, Hill, Bridges, McCarthy (Ponsonby), 2 wins, 1 drawn, 2 losses ; Dellamore, Campbell, Trayes, Frater (Mount Eden), and Stewart, E. Thomas, J. Thomas, J. Allele,y (Mount Albert), 2 wins, 3 losses; Oates, Ormerod, Waterworth, Miller (Ponsonby), 1 win, 4 losses. NOMADS FOR CARLTON.
