BIRKDALE QUEEN DANCE.
An en jovable dance in honour of the Birkdale Queen (Miss Dot Casey) was held in the R.A.0.8. Hall, Birkenhead, on Tuesday night. Among those _ present were,—Miss D. Carey, green silk lace, with black and pink posy: Mrs. G. Casey, rose crepe de chine; Mrs. Bone, pink velvet and lace; Mrs. C. Schorman, pale pink ring velvet; Mrs. Ripley, mauve velvet; Miss V. Robinson, rose velvet and shawl to match; Miss F. Robinson, blue crepe de chine and silver lace; Miss Florence Conner, blue ring velvet, relieved with sequins; Miss Lorna Mackie, sea green taffeta, with sequin trimming; Miss E. Johnson, turquoise blue velvet, golden taffeta hem; Miss B. Stayte, apple green georgette and silver; Miss P. Stayte, mauve and silver-beaded irock; Miss J. Stayte, mauve crepe de chine, silver lace and poosy; Miss D. Davis, mauve crepe de chine; Miss G. Cook, blue crepe de chine and gold lace.
