LAWN TENNIS.
PRINCE OF WALES CLUB
The annual perioral meeting of the Prince of Wales Tennis Club was held last evening, v.-hen Mr. Alfred Addison presided over a large attendance of members. The president, in moving the adoption of the repoit and balance-sheet, congratulated the club on the excellent position of the finances and 011 the very successful past season.
The winners of the club events were presented with cups as follow: Ladies championship singles. Mrs. I'. James; men's championship singles, C. N. Carston ; combined handicaps. Miss Hill and Reg. Fitzjames: men's handicap doubles, A. C. Stead and C. N. Carston. The following officers were elected: — President. Mr. A. B. Floyd ; vice-presidents. Colonel White, Mr. C. H. Davis, and Dr. Pettit; club captain, Mr. A. C. Stead; vicecaptain, Mr. C. N. Carston ; secretary. Mr. H W. James; treasurer, Mr. Reg. Fitzjames: auditor. Mr. Fairgray; committee, Mesdames Atkinson, Wallace and P. James. Misses Hill and Calkin. Messrs. Gillies, Bradshaw, Ingram and Roberts.
