NEW ZEALAND COLLIE CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING,
The fourth annual report and balancesheet of the above club was submitted to members at the annual meeting held last evening.
The president (Mr. H. Clay) complimented the club upon its excellent financial position, and upon the enthusiasm and goodwill that existed amongst the fanciers of the breed throughout the Dominion. Ho stated that tho operations of the club had undoubtedly improved the standard of collies, by the encouragement it had given to breeders. Tho membership had been advanced during the past year, and a similar advance was looked for during tho ensuing period. Mr. Clay extended to the hon. secretary (Mr. H. A. Craig), and the lion, treasurer (Mr. A. J. Bennett), the appreciation of the club for the work they had performed on its behalf. The annual report stated that during the year the following cups were won outright:—Wellington Cup, -V.'s Hocking, Palmerston North- Hutt Cup, Mr. W. H. Prickett, Hamilton; Waitemata Cup, Mr. W. H. Prickett Hamilton. Mr. W. 11. Prickett was also again successful in winning tho "Points Shield."
The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted: Patron, Mr. Eliot Davis, Auckland; president, Mr. H. Clay Auckland; vice-presidents, Lieut-Colonel E. G. Eraser, Auckland, Mr. A.
