NEW "ARMY" CITADEL

FOUNDATION STONE LAID. (From Oar Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The foundation stone of a new Salvation Army citadel in Bryce Street was laid yesterday afternoon by Colonel Levi Taylor, general secretary of the Army in New Zealand. The Mayor, Mr. J. R. Fow, congratulated the Army and the local corps on their enteprrise in erecting a new citadel. The Rev. Percy Paris, on behalf of the Ministers' Association, also expressed congratulations. Brigadier A. Sconey, property secretary for the Dominion, said it was the Commissioner's personal interest that had made this building in Hamilton possible. The total cost cf land and the new building would be £2950.
