'*) - Dear Boy* and Girls,— There were many entries for last week's titling competition, and, * although the standard of the work on the whole was not ate high as in previous competitions of this nature, the prize winning titles were quite food. r ' After much consideration the judges decided that Amy Cross was to be awarded first-prize for her title; "The King Confounded," which was a really suitable one for the story appearing last week. Charles Taylor's title was the next best in the list, and was accordingly awarded second place. The third prize went to Rose Stuart for quite a good title, and Kathleen Neely and Frank Molesworth came fourth and fifth respectively. Competitors will hail with delight the jumbled names of flowers competition which is being conducted this week, especially because .t was asked for by a Budget reader. The rules are easily understood, and no difficulty should be experienced in working out the answers. By way of "illustration the solution to the first jumbled word is Iris.
