FAMILY'S NARROW ESCAPE.

BABY GIVES THE ALARM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Fire this morning destroyed a fiveroomed house in Kilmore Street, tenanted by Mr. H. C. Robinson. The family were awakened at 1.15 a.m. by the baby crying, and escaped in night attire just before the roof fell in. The outbreak probably started in the kitchen.
