FUNERAL OF MR. L. A. JONES.

The funeral of the late Mr. Leslie Arthur Jones, telegraphist, who received 1 fatal shdck while using an electric light extension, "when putting 111 an earth wire from a radio set, took place at Waikumete yesterday. Mr. J. J. Kearnev, acting-chief postmaster at Auckland, represented the I ost and Telegraph Department, Mr. R. M. Douall, superintendent of the telegraph branch, being also present. The pall-bearers were Messrs. G. E. Smith, S. X. Rykers, H. C. Goddard, L. C. Rains, W. J. Taylor and L. -J. Walsh, brother officers of Mr. Jones. About SO members of the staff of the telegraph branch, Auckland Chief Post Office" were also present.
