MANUMAIRE TRAMPING CLUB.

A verv pleasant dance took place in the Mount Albert Bowling Pavilion on Saturday evening. This was the fhst effort of the Manumaire Tramping Club. The hall was very effectively decorated with streamers, Chinese lanterns and hanging baskets of ferns. Dance music \vas° supplied by the Felix Trio. An extra supper dance was played by Mrs. L. C. IT. Dawson, one of the club members, who introduced several of the club trampino- choruses, the dancers joining joyously s in singing as they danced. The inaugural dance was so successful that members are already considering a date for another function. Among those present were: Mesdames Beeston, gold satin and rainbow net; Buckley, sunset taffeta and diamante; Dawson, navy georgette and gold lace; Ross, pink embossed georgette and silver skirt; Scott (Wanganui), black georgette and Spanish lace; Misses Astlev, blue taffeta, silver lace; Baihlon, ravenswing blue georgette: Barr, turquoise blue velvet; Beaney, peach beaded georgette; Bennett. floral chiffon and green taffeta; Brodic. apricot taffeta; Brown, pink georgette; Dicken, blue brocaded crepe de chine; Duncan, Alice blue Halliwell, powder blue crepe de chine; Harrison, peacock blue satin, gold overdress; Holmes, peach crepe de chine; Knight, Cambridge blue taffeta; Lord, green crepe do chine and net; McKenzie, aquamarine satin and diamante; Mackintosh, pink crepe de chine; McCall, black panne velvet; Paul, blue crepe de chine silver; Picken, delphinium blue georgette; Sawkins, gold crepe de chine; Shearer, cyclamen getfeeitc; Sinclair, lime mauve taffeta, .Spanish shawl; Thomas, powder blue georgette diamanto* Young, powder bide crepe de chine.
