WARMING GELIGNITE.
TWENTY PLUGS IN TIN. CONTRACTOR FATALLY HURT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Monday. At an inquest concerning the death of Michael Culloty, contractor, who killed at Oringi, near Danncvirke, la s > Wednesday, it was stated that an employee put 20 pings of gelignite in a kerosene tin, which was placed on the embers of a fire for the purpose °' warming. The employee then went from tltf 1 tent, leaving Culloty sitting there on # , bunk. An explosion occurred soon afterwards. Cullotv's right thigh was severe!} lacerated, and he died soon after from hemorrhage and shock.
The coroner said it was a case of iu' s ; adventure.
