COMMUNITY SUNSHINE BOYS.
ENTERTAIN OLD FOLK AT
INFIRMARY.
_ Under their director, Mr. A. J. Williamson, the boys of the Community Sunshine Association, by kind permission of president, Mrs. N. E. Ferner, J.P., last night visited the Auckland Infiraary at JEpsoin, where fifteen of the boys gave a fine gymnastic display. The following concert items were also put on:—; Pianoforte duet, Fountain brothers (Desmond and Jack); pianoforte solo, Desmond Fountain); and several recitations by Tassie and Miss Joyce Williamson.
The old people were enthusiastic over the various turns, and carried by acclamation a vote of thanks for an entertainment of a nature never previously given at the institution. They expressed a hope that' the Sunshine * Association would not lose the address of the infirmary, and would visit it again very soon. Mr. Williamson, in reply, outlined the' aims and objects of the Conimunity Club, and stated that he would place before the executive the request of the spokesman that, despite his great age, he be allowed to qualify for membership of the boys' club. (Laughter.) The exchange of cheers closed an outstanding evening in the social life of the infirmary. The boys were then entertained to supper by the staff.
