For failure to furnish returns of land Charles Francis Pulley was fined fa 6 in the Magistrate's Court. This -was stated to be the class of case that gave the Department considerable trouble, as holdings of land wer& continually changipg. Alexander Thomas Gorrie was fined £5 for failuffe to jn&ke returns di land.
James Donnelly and Edward T&rtj were fined £10 each for failure to make returns of ineomfc.
