WHAKATANE, Friday
A match between teams representing the Taneatua Mounted Rifles and the Rangitaikl Riflu Cli)b took place on the Thornton Hangp. The conditions were ten shots at "00 and 300 yds. The teams consisted of seven inen aside. The match resulted in a win for the Hangitniki Club. Following arp the scores:— KnDgitaiki.—W. Moore, 47 at 200t(1s, 46 at 300 yds, total 93: K.
