STOLEN CROCKERY.

WIDOW IX TROUBLE

The disappearance of a cup and saucer and a pepper duster brought Mary Ann Boyle before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the* Police Court this morning, charged with stealing the articles, which were valued at 5/6.

Senior Sergeant O'Grady explained that Boyle, who was a domestic, had been detected taking the articles fro;n a dining table. She had previous convictions, but none for theft. She was a widow with children, he said.

Boyle was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within six months.
