DOMINION'S BAD RECORD.
FULL INQUIRY URGED. OUTBREAK OF, INCENDIARISM. (Bj- Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. "Since the last meeting of the board a number of burglaries and incendiary fires have occurred in the city and suburbs which have been the cause of a considerable amount of valuable property being destroyed," stated Superintendent Warner in his report to the Christchurcli Fire Board. "I am therefore of the opinion that the time is more opportune than ever for the Government to appoint a Royal Commission to consider the matter of the enormous fire losses of the Dominion from all viewpoints, and their possible prevention in the future."
