Smith will take place. Mr. Smith is the sound expert of the L'niversal Films. Miss May Grace has recently been appointed an industrial inspectress under the W.A. Shops and Factories .Act. She will be the second woman acting in this capacity in the State at the present time. There are about six women holding similar positions -in Victoria and about 37 in England. * s * * Madame Winnie Fraser will be the "iiest of honour of the Musical Circle at the Lyceum on Friday evening, when she will give an interesting talk to members on "A Musician's Experiences in Out-of-the-way Places," and during the evening will also sing for the members. *
