UNITED PARTY.

MINISTER ENTERTAINED. The Hon. E. A. Ransom (Minister of Public Works) was entertained at the United party rooms in Swanaon Street. There was a large gathering, representatives from all branches being present, including the junior organisation. Mr. J. Trevithick welcomed the Minister and other members spoke on behalf of their various 'branches. In reply, the Hon. £. A. Ransom stated that he was pleased to be present. He dealt with various phases of politics and s-aid that the Government were convinced that thev were on the right line-: and that they" would carry out their proposal* for the ultimate good or tne. country.
