MAUI POMARE'S VOYAGE

On her return trip from Norfolk Island to Auckland, the Government motorship Maui Pomare, which arrived at Auckland last evening, maintained an average speed of 11.5 knots, which is her best sustained performance since she was launched. Fine weather was experienced throughout the Voyage, and the engines gavet no trouble at all. The vessel brought a full complement of passengers, but only 300 cases of fruit, mostly privately consigned by Norfolk Islanders to friends s in Auckland.
