RESULT OF FORTNIGHTLY SHORT STORY COMPETITION.

There were extremely heavy entries for the Short Story Competition this time, and many good tales ware submitted. The best story was "Tam-o'-Shanter," by Sheita Qwinn, Tennyson Street, Dominion Road, age 15. Highly commended is the wdrk of Edward Coles, Ponconby; Roma Benson, Dominion Road; Eden Coombes, Taumarunui; Ivy Morton, Matapuna; Alan Sayers, Royal Oak; Sylvia Brose, Remucra; and Margaret King, V/hangarci.
