HENDERSON'S WOMEN'S INSTITUTE.
The entertainment arranged by the Henderson Women's Institute in aid of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary and Federation funds was held in the Henderson Town Hall, when there was a large attendance of members and friends. The principal features of the entertainment were two sketches performed by members of the institute, one a seven charactered sketch < entitled "Early Birds." and "Miss Honey's Treasure," comprising two characters. Both of the playettes were very well performed, and the audience showed marked appreciation of the various interpretations given by the performers. Other items were contributed by Mrs. de Montalk and Mr. Fenny, Mrs. Kersey, Mrs. G. Nicholson, Mr. 0. Firken, Miss Moore, the Misses Venables and Misses Greaves and Jones. Mrs. de Montalk acted as accompanist. A cake competition was won during the evening by Mr. Latham.
