Store With 120,000 Gallons of Petrol Burned Last Night.
TWO BIG DOORS FOUND UNLOCKED.
MOTOR-SHED ALSO SET ABLAZE.
Damage estimated at £12,000 was done by fire which destroyed an oil store and 120,000 gallons of petrol in Christchurch last night. This fire, like eleven others in the last three weeks, is attributed to incendiarists. The total damage exceeds £50,000. Although the guards of the oil stores had been doubled, tvro doors of the burning store were found wide open when the fire brigade arrived.
