In the matter of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1026. and Amendments thereto and regulations made thereunder, and the Local Government Loans Board Act. 1926, and regulations made thereunder, the BodyCorporate known as tlie Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Waiteniata hereby give notice, in terms of Sections 'J and 10 of the Local Bodies Loans Act. 1026. that it proposes to engage in the following undertaking, which it is duly authorised to do by law and by virtue of a resolution of the Local Government Loans Board, sanctioning the loan proposal, and being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work, out of the ordinary revenue of the Council, propose to raise a special loan for the purpose of : — il) —Titirangi Road —Reconstruction and paving in cement concrete from New Lynn Borough Boundary to Titirangi Post Office, part cost £ 6,300 (2) Otitori Bay Road —Widening, culverting and metalling 1,330 (3) School Road —Widening, culverts and metalling .... The total sum proposed to be borrowed is H 13,000 in respect of a loan to be known as the Titirangi Riding Loan (1920) at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 10/ per centum per annum for a period of 20 years, the Sinking Fund not less than £ 3 per centum per annum. The proposed security for the loan is a special annual recurring rate of one penny and one-eighth of one penny in the pound on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Titirangi Riding of the County of Waitemata, a legal subdivision. It is proposed to nay out of the loan the preliminary expenses in connection with the scheme for which the loan is proposed to be raised, and also the cost of raising the loan, but not the interest and sinking fund for the first year of the loan. A Poll of the Ratepayers in the said Titirangi riding will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 2Sth day of August. 1929 at the following places'.—Titirahgi Kiosk and Huia Post Office. Parau Post Office and the County Office, corner of Princes and Shortland Streets, Auckland, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The Counties Act provides that all ratepayers who have not pail their rates and penalties are debarred from voting.
