LEVEL-CROSSING SMASH.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Mr. Robert Sowersby, a well-known resident, was driving his car from Russell Street to a level crossing at the same time as a goods train was arriving at the station. His car ran into the third wagon behind the engine. He escaped unhurt, but the car was extensively damaged.
