NEW LYNN GUN CLUB.

MURRELL CUP COMPETITION,

[ Rome good scores were registered by the New Lynn Gun Club at its fortnightly shoot I on Saturday. The first natch of seven birds, the final of a series of four for the Murrell Cup, resulted in a tie between F. Hazard and G. H. Brown. -The better scorer in the next match was to be the winner, and as Hazard beat Brown by one bird he holds the cup for two months. The next match was a 15 birds event for a trophy presented by Mr. L. F. Ramsey. >1. Delich (15yds), E. N. Barratt (14yds), D. Hyauiason (11yds) and W. Turner (13yds) topped the score with 14 each. In the shoot-off M. Delich won on the 21st bird, W. Turner being second with 20. A seven-birds sweepstake reunited-in a tie between M. Delich (10yds), H. E. Knight (17yds), K. H. Bartley (13yds), E. N. Barratt (15yds), and D. Stoupe (12yd3), all shooting the possible. In the shoot-off, first miss out, M. Delich won on the tenth bird, Knight and Barrutt dividing second money. MORRINSVILLE GUN CLUB. MORRINSVILLE, Sunday. Results of a shoot held by the Morrinsvllle Gun Club are as follow : — Seven Birds.—W. A. Robertson, 1 (possibie). , _ _ T Ten Birds.—W. Aitken and P. Harvey divided the prize-money. Ten Birds. —W. Robertson, G. .T. Amunsden, A. Shirley, W. Aitkin, 8 each. In the shoot-off for second Shirley won on the 27th round. ' Ten Birds. —W. Aitkin shot the possible. J. Aniunsden, S. Farlour and A. Aitkin, with 0 each, were second. Five Birds, Quail Drive. —AV. Aitkin shot the possible. Seven Birds—S. Parlour, J. Finlay, A. Aitkin, J. Ainunsden, O birds, divided the prize-money. „ Six Birds. —.T. Amunsden, J. I' inlay, S. Parlour, A. Aitkin shot the possible.
