HIRE PURCHASE SYSTEM.
GRAMOPHONE SOLD TO DEALER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) MORR3NSVILLE, Friday. A yoiing man, whose name -was ordered to be suppressed, appeared before justices in the Morrinsville Court yesterday on a charge of unlawfully converting to his own use a portable gramophone, valued at £15 15/, the property of the. Farmers' Trading Company, Auckland. Constable Heepe said the man had purchased the machine on a hire-pur-chase agreement, and while there was a balance of £14 8/6 owing he sold the machine'to a dealer in Cambridge for £2 5/. , Accused was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence in twelve months, and to make restitution of the £2 5/.
