NIAGARA DUE ON MONDAY. FORT GISBORNE DISCHARGING. The mail liner Niagara is due at Auckland at 10 o'clock on Monday morning from Vanvouver, via Honolulu and Suva. On Tuesday the Marama is expected to arrive from Sydney. An arrival last evening was the Port Gisborne, from New York, with a heavy shipment of motor cars and bitumen. This morning the Baron Jedburgh arrived from Cuba with a cargo of raw sugar. Important among the loading steamers is the Kent, which arrived last night from Gisborne, and is to sail on Wednesday next for London and West of England ports. ARRIVALS—YESTERDAY. The Canopus sails on Monday evening for Westport direct. The Kartigi is expected to leave Westport to-day and Greymoutn on Tuesday for Auckland. The Kaimanawa is due at Westport about Friday next to load for Auckland. The Waipiata sails on Tuesday next for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and Oamaru. The Wingatui was to leave Dunedin at noon to-day for Tiraaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton and Auckland. The Kurow was to leave Wellington at noon to-day for New Plymouth, Auckland and Portland. The Waimea left Napier at 3.30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she will be due to-morrow. She will berth at the Queen's wharf. The Margaret W. left Gisborne last night for Auckland. , The Awahou left Gisborne last night, and lis due at Auckland on Monday. She will berth at the King's wharf, and is to sail on Tuesday evening for Hick's Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. The Tiroa left Gisborne last evening, and is expected to reach Auckland on Monday. The Pukeko is due from Portland tonight, and will berth at the King's wharf. She is to sail on Monday afternoon for the East Coast bays, Napier, and Wairoa. The Union Company's steamer Marama left Sydney at 3 p.m. yesterday for Auckland with 138 passengers, and also mails and cargo for Auckland. She will be due here on Tuesday morning and sails at 3 p.m. on Friday for Sydney. NIAGARA MONDAY MORNING. Having left Suva at noon yesterday, the mail liner Niagara is expected to arrive at Auckland at 10 a.m. on Monday. She will berth at the Prince's wharf. The Niagara is announced ito sail at 10 p.m. on Tuesday for Sydney. MOVEMENTS AT DOCK. The Wakakura and the naval target were urtdocked at 10 this mornings after being cleaned and painted. The Wakakura returned to the Sheerlegs wharf and the target was moored off Devonport. The Kaikorai was taken from the King's wharf this morning to the flock.

TOFUA SAILED. The Tofua sailed at 11.30 this' morning for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa, on her monthlyisland trip. TARANAKX PASSES COLON. Making a good passage Home the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Taranaki left Colon on Thursday afternoon, in continuation of her voyage from Auckland to London. The steamer left here on June 23. KENT ARRIVED. There arrived from Gisborne last evening, the Federal Line steamer Kent, which berthed at Queen's wharf this morning, where she will complete loading for London and East Coast ports of Great Britain. She is scheduled to sail for London on Wednesday afternoon. ADVICE FROM ANGLO-INDIAN. Messrs. R. Millar and Co. have received wireless advice from the steamer AngloIndian stating that she will arrive from Galveston, Texas, nest Tuesday morning. She has a full cargo of sulphur, which will be discharged at Auckland, Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kembla, Geelong, and Port Pirie. ARLINGTON COURT REPORTS. Further advice received by Messrs. R. Millar and Co. states that the Court Line steamer Arlington Court is due to load I sulphur at Galveston, Texas, about July IS. ; She will then depart for Auckland, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, New Plymouth, and Wanganui. HERON SAILS TO-DAY. The Norwegian tanker Heron, which arrived from Tarakan. Borneo, on Thursday night, berthed at the Western wharf yesterday morning, She will pump 3000 tons of bulk oil into the Shell Company's tanks at the Freeman's Bay wharf. The vessel sails for Wellington at daybreak to complete discharaging. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night:—Canadian Scottish, Yoinachlchi, Canadian Transporter, Sonoma, Heron, lonic. The Canadian Conqueror is due at Auckland on Monday from Montreal, and will take the Canadian Scottish'* berth at the Prince's wharf. NIAGARA ARRIVED MONDAY. The R.M.s. Niagara left Suva at noon yesterday, en route from Vancouver and Honolulu to Auckland. The vessel expects to arrive in Auckland at 10 a.m. oil Monday. according to advice received by the local office of the Union Company. She will land passengers, mail and cargo at Prince's wharf, and is scheduled to leave for Sydney at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. [ BARON* JEDBURGH IN STREAM. The steamer Baron Jedburgh (Captain J. McCrendle) arrived at Auckland shortly after midnight and anchored in the stream. Raw sugar was loaded by the steamer at Cardenas and Port Tarafa, Cuba, and the voyage was commenced on June 5. Making a direct passage, via the Panama Canal, the vessel left Balboa on June 10. In the Pacific she had fair weather, excepting four days after passing Pitcairn Island. Heavy head weather and a westerly gale, with high seas, for two days, delayed her arrival. The cargo will be discharged at Chelsea. NORTHERN CO.'S MOVEMENTS. Projected Departures. i PORT GISBORNE'S FIRST VISIT. Visiting Auckland for the first time, though she has made five voyages to New Zealand, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line's motor ship Port Gisborne, arrived at Auckland from New York last evening and berthed at the Prince's wharf this morning. She made a quick run out of 26 days. The vessel will discharge a full cargo of merchandise and case oil at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Port Gisborne was built at Newcastle-on-Tyne two years ago and is a sister ship to the Port Fremantle. She has a tonnage of 8001 gross and is capable of doing 15 knots. ■ She sailed from New York on June 16, land cleared Panama on June 22. Her I steaming time from New York to Rangi- [ toto was 25 days, one hour, 16 minutes, the [average speed being 14.2 knots. The vessel 1 encountered strong south-west winds, and rough head seas and swell during the last week of her voyage. This delayed her arrival by twelve hours. Captain H. W.
